Team Lead for Cloud Services (80-100%)

Tasks
  • Lead software delivery, ensuring quality, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage software maintenance releases according to the process: bug fixing, vulnerability management, and platform and framework upgrades.
  • Oversee V&V process phases and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support service escalations and customer requests.
  • Lead Agile processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Forecast budgets and drive cost optimizations.
  • Assign responsibilities and monitor workload to ensure efficient task distribution.
  • Ensure software sustainability through technology refresh planning, licensing optimization, and maintenance cycles.
  • Define and report product and technical KPIs.
  • Create and maintain documentation according to medical software development processes and standards.
About the position
Your key role  in the R&D department is to plan, lead, and deliver all cloud-based projects, ensuring alignment with medical product development processes and compliance with internal and external quality and regulatory standards. You will manage the Cloud Services team, coordinate projects across functions, optimize costs, and track technical and product KPIs. Your profile
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Medical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in:
    • Project management leadership in a software environment.
    • Software engineering / IT management.
    • Leading Cloud/Azure projects.
    • Medical software development, compliance and documentation processes (e.g. according to IEC62304).
    • Release management.
    • Agile processes preferably as Scrum Master or Product Owner
  • 2+ years of experience with:
    • Software development (any of C# Java, GO, Python, JS).
    • Code management (trunk-based development, PRs management).
    • Test case and component design.
    • Testing execution.
    • Testing practices and automation frameworks (based on TDD and BDD).
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience leading teams in cloud or software engineering environments.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
